Dirk van den Bosch was locally active for the young Greens and campaign leader for several campaigns. He then turned politician himself and became leader of the Greens in local parliament in the city of Leiden aged 21. He negotiated several coalitions in his home town and left in 2003 to start his own company in Spain. After some years he came back to the Netherlands as a freelance journalist and campaigning advisor leading to a job at the European Parliament for the Dutch Greens. As coordinator for the Dutch Greens he lined out the strategy for the European Campaign 2014. In the meantime he received a masters degree at Kent University in Political Communication & Strategy where his research dealt with the question how Greens in Europe can be successful in framing. Currently Dirk works as strategic and communications advisor for the Dutch Greens in European Parliament and is the green liaison between the EP and the Dutch Parliament. Therefore he is also involved in the strategy of the current national campaign.
