Ward Mosmuller

Biography

Ward Mosmuller currently supports/advises MB & BGs on strategic issues and represents DSM in the EU. He is cofounder of the PPP Bio-Based Industries Ward studied Molecular Sciences at Wageningen University and holds a PhD-degree in Bioorganic Chemistry.

He worked at the Dutch Technology Agency Senter, a.o. manager of the Catalysis Innovation Program and the Dutch Technical Development Loan, a € 600 million public loan; in this period he obtained an MBA-degree. He worked for PricewaterhouseCooper in the Life Sciences and risk management teams. He worked as managing director of BioPartner and supported universities in setting up Life Sciences spin-offs.

In 2005, Ward started his own company focusing on innovation and technology transfer. He is (co)founders of a.o. Health Valley, and the Technology Transfer Office of VU University & Medical Centre and he cofounded a range of university spin-off companies.
