Per Bolund

Biography

Per Bolund has a master’s degree in biology from Stockholm University and the University of Stirling, Scotland. He has furthermore pursued two years of doctoral studies at the Department of Ecology, Environment and Plant Sciences at Stockholm University.

Between 2002-2006, Per Bolund worked as political advisor at the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications. In 2006, he was elected Member of the Swedish Parliament, representing the Green Party. He held the position as his party’s Economic Policy Spokesperson between 2011-2014.

Since 2014, Per Bolund is the Swedish Minister for Financial Markets and Consumer Affairs, and Deputy Minister for Finance.
