For people with mobility issues

All the conference spaces will be wheelchair accessible, and there are accessible toilets on all levels of the venue.
We can reserve a specific seat which suits your requirements in each room.

Below are accessibility guides to the various train stations in Liverpool.

Accessible Parking and access 

The Waterfront car park is approximately 30 metres from the entrance to ACC Liverpool and features ramped access and 79 accessible spaces. A fee is payable to park in the accessible bays. There is level access from the piazza and ramped access from the riverside areas immediately outside ACC Liverpool, and lift access to level one of the convention centre, home to the auditorium and breakout rooms. 

 

For people with hearing impairment

The main hall will be fitted be an induction loop for hearing aid users and breakout rooms will have microphones and PA systems.
Speeches and plenary sessions will be British Sign Language interpreted, and some fringes depending on capacity of interpreters. Deaf members are kindly asked to let the organisers know which sessions they will be attending, so that a suitable number of interepreters can be booked.

All plenary sessions and speeches in the main hall will be captioned.

The conference livestream will be subtitled. We can arrange for a conference buddy to be on hand to assist you.

 

For people with visual impairment

Guide dogs are welcome at the venue. We can arrange for a conference buddy to be on hand to assist you.

 

Quiet Room

A quiet room is available within the main conference venue. Details will be published on the venue map which you will receive at the registration desk. The venue map will also be published on this website nearer conference dates.
